Fadekemi Ogunsanya is a multidisciplinary Nigerian artist based in Lagos and London. She received her MA in architecture from the Architectural Association in London in 2020. Her practice, which spans painting, objects, and textile works, is informed by her training as an architect as well as her personal connection to Yoruba culture. Her work is detailed, careful, and emotionally attuned, exploring the complexities of the female experience within patriarchal structures.
