Gallery Diet is pleased to announce a series of exhibitions for the summer of 2013. For June, July, and August, the gallery will highlight one work at a time for periods of two to three weeks. This series of exhibitions will drive the viewers’ attention to a single work within each artists practice. Currently on view is BR_EE_ZE by Toadhouse. Allan Graham the artist is Toadhouse the word groper.

The name Toadhouse came from of an underground “kiva” like structure -dug/built- by the artist and his son, Jess. Each morning as they started digging they would find desert spade-foot toads that had jumped into the hole the night before. Upon completion he started sitting with a pot of tea in toadhouse and writing what ever came through the “mind-field”. This was begun over 20 years ago. BR_EE_ZE is a framed work on paper that reflects the spirit of summer in Miami. The work is on view Tuesday thru Saturday 11 am – 5 pm, and on Saturday, June 8th from 11 am – 9 pm. There will be a solo exhibition of works by Allan Graham curated by Phong Bui in September 2013.
New works by Nicolas Lobo, Nathlie Provosty, Emmett Moore, Christy Gast, and Bhakti Baxter will be exhibited. Please stay posted for additional details.
