The Best of Intentions is comprised of eight conceptually driven works that are executed primarily through sculpture but contain elements of video, collage, and drawing. The artist’s influences range from Clapton to Courbet from Malevich to The Goonies. Systematical structures and popular ideologies are positioned as props in each of the works, forming the pieces of an incomplete puzzle and posing a series of questions about the inner workings of both the fantastical and the mundane aspects of our society.
Daniel Milewski graduated in 2005 from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University in Boston. His work has been exhibited previously both in Miami, Florida and Boston, Massachusetts. His work has been reviewed in Artinfo.com, The Miami Herald, and The Miami New Time
