“Bordering on the outlandish, but not outside the realm of visual intrigue, Gallery Diet’s new September show features artists from three of the nation’s largest art metropolises (New York, Los Angeles, and Miami), with lighthearted pornography, Pee Wee’s Playhouse, and stereotypical colors/lines from each locale acting as connective tissue. Artists included are Joshua Abelow, Sarah Conaway, Talia Chetrit, Debo Eilers, Nicolas Lobo, Martin Oppel, and George Woodman, and the title comes from a poem by Wolfsonian curatorial research assistant Matthew Abess.”
